Detailed Product Description
Being made of vermiculite (hydrated magnesium aluminum silicate), one of the safest and unique minerals in the world, containing no asbestos, ceramic or mineral fibers, vermiculite fire-resistant board is an environmental-friendly fire-resistant product in terms of manufacturing, installing, using, as well as during burning. The other features include:
- Fire retardant - maintains its shape and properties under the temperature as high as 1200 degree Celsius.
- Durable does not rot and decay; outstanding antibacterial and mothproof properties.
- Strong strong but not brittle; superior physical endurance and dimensional stability.
- Insulation- excellent resistance to heat transmission, reducing energy consumption; superior acoustic properties.
- Lightweight the density of board is 400 ~ 600 kg/m3.
- Integration -the board is made of a single piece to avoid the disadvantage of delaminating in layered boards, as well as the loose infill packing materials.
Applications:
1. Fire-resistant core for fire doors.
2. Heat preservation and sound insulation boards for walls.
3. Fire resistant walls and ceilings.
4. Heat insulation boards in planes, trains, cars, ships, ovens and pipes etc.
